  • Kimi Antonelli is 13/8 favourite for the British Grand Prix and 7/4 for the Sprint

Silverstone Sprint Weekend Is Up For Grabs

Round 10 of the Formula 1 season takes the sport to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix and the fourth sprint weekend of the year.

Reigning championship leader Kimi Antonelli arrives 40 points clear of George Russell after his teammate's win in Austria pulled Mercedes back into the title fight.

The action starts on Saturday with the 17-lap sprint at 12:00 BST, followed by qualifying at 16:00. Sunday's main 52-lap Grand Prix gets under way at 15:00, with both races priced up separately by Bet365.

Bookmakers have full markets up for both the Sprint and the main Grand Prix this weekend.

Bet365 have Antonelli as the 13/8 favourite for Sunday's Grand Prix, with home favourite George Russell 9/4 second. Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are joint at 5/1, with Charles Leclerc 12/1.

Antonelli's Title Charge Heads To The British Grand Prix

Kimi Antonelli continues to defy expectations at the top of the championship. The teenager's 40-point lead heading into Silverstone reflects a sustained run of podium finishes and the kind of race-craft maturity that belies his rookie status.

At 13/8 for Sunday and 7/4 for Saturday, Bet365 are pricing him as the consistent threat across both formats.

A 38.1% implied probability on the main race is a meaningful favouritism level is short enough to reflect genuine confidence, but long enough to leave value across the field if anything wobbles.

Russell Comes In On A High After Austria

9/4 on George Russell for his home Grand Prix is the price the bookies give to a driver coming off a race win at full momentum.

The Austria victory was Russell's most complete performance of the season and the kind of result that builds psychological confidence ahead of a home race.

Lewis Hamilton at 5/1 for Sunday and 9/2 for Saturday is the price for the eight-time British Grand Prix winner. The seven-time world champion has won at Silverstone more than any driver in history, and the home crowd advantage is genuine.

Silverstone has historically been a circuit where Max Verstappen's late-braking aggression pays dividends. If race-day weather throws variables into the mix, and the British summer occasionally obliges, 5/1 will look short by Sunday afternoon.

Where To Bet On The British Grand Prix

Markets on both Saturday's sprint and Sunday's British Grand Prix are now live across all of the best motorsport betting sites, including Bet365 who have priced both races with deep fields.

For value hunters, many of the best UK betting sites carry specials around the British Grand Prix, podium finish, fastest lap, top-six finish markets, that can offer better returns than the headline winner lines if you've identified a specific outcome.
