The Blackouts Lead BGT Odds After Stunning Semi-Final Performance

Following a thrilling first semi-final night, The Blackouts have shortened further at the top of the Britain’s Got Talent betting market.

UK Betting Sites have now slashed their odds to 2/1 after securing a Golden Buzzer spot in the live final, with Amanda Holden pressing the buzzer after their performance.

The dynamic acrobatic and dance group wowed the judges and the audience, earning their direct ticket to the final and dramatically shortening in the betting market.

Meanwhile, Vinnie McKee, singer and crowd favourite, won the public vote to join them and enters the final as a 14/1 outsider.

William Hill's latest market gives an implied probability of 33.3% that The Blackouts are crowned winners of this year's BGT.

What the expert says...
The Blackouts’ move to 2/1 reflects how important momentum is during BGT’s live shows. Golden Buzzer acts often finish strongly but history tells us surprises can happen once the public vote fully takes over.

Spotlight on Top Contenders

The Blackouts now carry strong momentum after their energetic and polished performance.

With high production value and a wide appeal across demographics, they look set to be one of the finalists to beat.

Stacey Leadbeatter remains second favourite at 6/1 with no set date on when she will appear in the semi-finals.

Hear Our Voice, Maya Giotea, and John Pierce are all clustered between 10/1 and 14/1, meaning there is still plenty of opportunity for acts to surge in the odds with another show-stopping semi-final performance.
