  • Outsiders in the Next James Bond betting market see support after surprise Dr. Who choice
  • Jamie Bell could be the best of the outsider bunch according to bookies
  • At 20/1 with betting sites, Oxford's David Oyelowo has Played Military Intelligence roles before
  • Mahershala Ali could be the first American to Play Bond and is 33/1 with Bookmakers.

There has been some support at betting sites for Jamie Bell to potentially step into Daniel Craig's highly shined Oxfords and take on the role of James Bond. The actor, hailing from County Durham made his film appearance in Billy Elliot and more latterly played Bernie Taupin in the Elton John biopic Rocketman but could now turn into a spy in Ian Flemings's famous MI6 movies.

Following on from outsider Ncuti Gatwa landing the Dr. Who role, we have taken many a look at who the next James Bond after Daniel Craig might be, but we've not taken a look down the betting at the outsiders, and noticed this week, a whole host of new names added to the betting - Perhaps punters are requesting odds on some more diverse and previously unconsidered options.

Following Ncuti Gatwa landing Dr Who when not even considered in the betting, we should consider some of the bookmakers outside bets for the Next James Bond after Daniel Craig. To that end, Jamie Bell has the age and height to fit the bill.

Heading the list is Jamie Bell at 16/1 as mentioned, but other considerations include Northern Irish Jamie Dornan who is both famous for being a model but gained a huge female following after portraying Christian Grey from the Fifty Shades films series.

At the same price with betting sites is Riz Ahmed, formerly an independent movie star, things have moved on considerably with roles in Star Wars and Jason Bourne.

Coming to the actors priced at 20/1 to become the next 007, we have Dubliner Aiden Turner [Poldark] and namesake Callum Turner, [War & Peace and Fantastic Beasts].

David Oyelowo from Oxford has previous acting experience playing a Military Intelligence Offer as an MI5 agent in Spooks, all he need to is step up to MI6 for James Bond and is 20/1 with bookmakers to do so.

Someone with Military Intelligence acting experience is David Oyelowo from Oxford, who played an MI5 officer in Spooks, and in complete contrast, Javert in the BBC Series of Les Miserables.

At bigger prices still and 33/1, Newcastle's Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam is an option as is Mahershala Ali to become the first American to play the James Bond role. The Multi Academy award-winning actor has an impressive roll call of appearances in both TV and film.
