Bookmakers give 11/2 odds that Bitcoin will hit £100,000 in 2022
Bitcoin is one of the most popular cryptocurrencies in the world and bookmakers feel that it could hit as high as £100,000 in 2022.
At odds of 11/2, bookies give a 15.4% implied probability of Bitcoin ramping up it's value compared to GBP in the next 12 months.
Goldman Sachs says that Bitcoin will have to take on gold if it wants to hit the heights of $100,000, which works out at roughly £74,000.
The cryptocurrency currently sits at just over £34,000 as of 5th January 2022
Bitcoin currently sits at £34,100.16 as of 5th January 2022 and this has gone down since the highs of £49,000 back in November.
The stability of Bitcoin is something that has always been thrown up into question with buyers and sellers and that's something that has continued to be the case.
Over the last month alone the crypto has dipped by over £3,000, but then in the past 24 hours there has been a nearly £300 rise, so the way in which it changes is dramatic.
Bookies though suggest that the coin could keep rising and rising over the next 12 months and with this 11/2 special they think there's a decent chance.

Bookies gave odds of 8/11 that BitCoin dropped below £10,000 back in June last year
The stability of Bitcoin, as spoken about previously, is something that is important to look at when it comes to betting on the crypto market.
The coin itself dipped to as low as £24,000 back in February of last year which led to bookies starting to offer odds of it dipping even further.
As early as June 2021 there were odds of 8/11 that Bitcoin would dip to under £10,000, so the stark contrast of the market being £100,000 or higher shows the strength in the cryptocurrency now.
