The Power of the Dog set to sweep the BAFTAs

Netflix film The Power of the Dog leads the way in a variety of categories at this year's BAFTAs, with the film praised by critics and movie watchers alike. 

With odds of 8/13 to win the Best Film at the awards, it's clear that Bookmakers feel there's a big chance of the film winning this. 

Further odds for the Best Film award include coming-of-age drama Belfast.

Don't Look Up is another Netflix distributed film that is nominated for the Best Film award in what has been a successful year for the streaming platform. 

At odds of 25/1 though, the film is a rank outsider to win Best Film according to the bookies.

At odds of 8/13, it's clear that bookmakers feel The Power of the Dog has a massive chance of winning Best Film at this years BAFTAs.

Lady Gaga favourite to win the Best Actress

Lady Gaga has been nominated for Best Actress at the BAFTAs for a second time, after her nomination back in 2019 for her role in A Star Is Born. 

Fast forward three years and she leads the way in the Best Actress category according to bookies at 4/6 for her performance as Patrizia Reggiani in House Of Gucci. 

Emilia Jones is the bookmakers second favourite at 5/2 for her role in the film CODA, which is about a child of death parents. 

Other actresses nominated in this category include Alana Haim (11/2) for Licorice Pizza and Tessa Thompson (20/1) for Passing. 

Benedict Cumberbatch yet another The Power of the Dog nominee this year!

Benedict Cumberbatch plays the lead role in The Power of the Dog, which as a film has 8 different nominations at this year's BAFTAs.

Cumberbatch could be a good chance of the film winning an award at 4/6 for Best Actor, but Will Smith is tight behind him at 11/10.

Smith's role as Richard Williams, father of Tennis stars Venus and Serena, has been praised critically throughout the last few months.

Benedict Cumberbatch leads the way in the Best Actor category at odds of 4/6 to win, but Will Smith is close according to bookmakers for his role in King Richard with odds of 11/10 to win.
