  • The girls are dropping like flies as Sophie becomes the third in the row to be fired
  • Nick Showering steady with bookies having landed up in the boardroom this week
  • Akshay Thakrar was favourite foe the boot but survives the showdown but week 8 could be tricky

Nick Showering had a close call this week having been brought into the boardroom to face Lord Sugar alongside last week's favourite for the sack Akshay Thakrar. As it turned out, project manager Sophie Wilding who brought them back was the one to feel the finger of the boss and take the taxi out of town.

Nicks position at the head of the market remains, and Akshay who was the rank outsider will be praying to find himself on the winning team next week, as another spell in the boardroom and it could be curtains in week 8

*Betting on the Apprentice is not available as it is a pre-recorded show and the results can be already known. We have created betting odds based on an independent poll of apprentice fans as to who they think will win the show.

Kathryn Louise Burn is the mover in the betting and into 3/1 behind Nick who had an unwelcome boardroom appearance in week 7. Akshay just survived but is now the rank outsider and favourite to get the boot if coming back to the showdown next week

Who is Kathryn?

Kathryn Louise burn is based in Swindon where she owns and operates an online Pyjama Store. The Apprentice is not her firs appearance on TV having featured on The Island with Bear Grylls back in 2017

I feel like if I'm one of the favourites, I've obviously come across well, or people think that I've got a lot of potential so really, really good
Kathryn Louise Burn - Apprentice Contestant

Kathryn has lone been considered one of the favourite to win the investment from Lord Sugar and with nick Showering ending up the boardroom on the losing side in week 7, her price has shortened slightly and whilst still second favourite is looking like a stronger contender week after week.

Kathryn has been the most popular contestant on Instagram too, where she has been gaining around 3000 followers per week to amass 23000 in total now, some 7000 more than her nearest rival in those terms, Navid Sole.

Come back to OLBG NEWS next week when we make our predictions on who will be fired by Lord Sugar in week 7.
