Morocco is the favourite to host the World Cup in 2030 at odds of 5/2
Morocco is the favourite with bookmakers to host the 2030 World Cup, with odds of 2/1 showing that the country has a decent chance of hosting the showpiece event in Football.
Africa have not held a World Cup since South Africa in 2010, which was one of the most entertaining tournaments in recent history with Spain eventual winners.

Egypt are a fellow African country that are in the betting odds to host the 2030 World Cup, with odds of 9/1 giving them a 10% chance of doing so.
Both Morocco and Egypt bid for the 2010 World Cup but were eventually pipped by South Africa to hosting in 2004.
In 2015 though, reports stated that Morocco actually won the votes to host it but South Africa was awarded the tournament instead due to the FIFA Corruption scandal.
Uruguay are the second favourites to host the tournament
Uruguay won the first ever World Cup in 1930, with the country actually hosting the event too.
The 2030 World Cup will be 100 years on from that event, so FIFA may decide to celebrate 100 years of their showpiece event with hosting it in Uruguay again.
At odds of 11/2, bookies give a 15.4% chance that Uruguay are hosts for the prestigious event.
Argentina, Chile and Paraguay are also set to be part of Uruguay's host bid, with the last South American hosts of the event being Brazil back in 2014.
Spain the most likely European host country
Spain and Portugal have put forward a joint bid to host the 2030 World Cup, with their bid confirmed back in 2020.
Portugal have never hosted a World Cup event, but Spain last hosted the Finals back in 1982.
They aren't the only confirmed bid from Europe though, with Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Serbia putting another joint bid in for the World Cup.
The United Kingdom and Ireland bid was expected for the event, but all eyes seem to be on trying to host the 2028 Euros event.
