DAL Stars @ EDM Oilers Tips

The Oilers lead this series by 2-1 after wins in the last two games, despite the Stars having 10 more shots in the last of those games and looking better for most of it. The Stars need a response here to avoid going down 1-3 before heading home for game 5. So, expect a better performance from the Stars and a tighter game that should see the Stars in it till the end, making the visitors plus a hefty puck line a side to be on.

The Oilers are the better team at the moment. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have dominated Dallas in the last two games and they should create plenty of scoring chances in this game too.

I expect that at home, Edmonton will take a big step in the series and go 3-1 up. Edmonton have won four of the last five games played in Edmonton, including the last game 6-1.

Oilers lead this series by 2-1 after two great games both defensively and offensively. So, Stars badly need to respond before the series switches back to Texas. Stars scored only one goal in the last two games, but they played much better in game 3, creating so much more in front of the Oilers' goal. However, with some unfortunate events, they ended up going down and eventually losing easily. That was the first time Stars lost back-to-back games in these playoffs. They were tied at 2-2 in the Conference Finals versus these same Oilers last season, so you have to expect Stars to come out guns blazing in this one. With Oilers goalie Skinner allowing only one goal in his four wins in these playoffs and allowing 5.22 GAA in his losses, you simply have to expect Stars getting to him early, taking command of this game, and eventually tying the series up.
