R P McMurphy has been holding his form well and backed up his win with another solid run last time, showing he’s still in good shape. He’s effective over 8 to 9f on the all weather and while the handicapper has tightened things up, he still looks fairly treated and capable of going close again.

Just couldn't get up in time at Lingfield, but was finishing with a rattle and should be taking advantage of this low handicap rating. Has won over C&D before.

R P McMurphy's last race was a weak affair, and the first two home were very average. Danehill Star is given a chance despite lacking a recent run. He has been very consistent this year, winning four times and placing three times. They raced him after a one-day interval in August, suggesting they thought his mark of 58 was worth the chance. Tony Carroll also runs the 6-year-old mare Boujee Gold, but her profile is less accomplished.

Slow-starting BOUGEE GOLD might not get trapped too far out wide here as there's plenty of wannabe's who will want to get handy from the stalls. She'll have a pace to aim at then, and she's lighter in the weights than when placing here in May and October. Seemingly random performances at times, but a revival is a possibility.

Not been in the best form, but visor/tongue-tie seems to work better. This horse has raced this trip at the course three times. Twice in Sept '24 off 68 and 65, where it came 1st and 2nd. So it can get the tip, and off a mark of 60 in a Class 6 it should be somewhere thereabouts, excluding any dramas.

Summer Evening brings an intriguing each-way here with blinkers on for the first time after that 7th here 12 days back over 1m4f, where she plugged on but lacked staying zip under the hood. A Belardo filly dropping to 1m plays to her sprintier Anjaal dam pedigree, so if Darragh Keenan can get her relaxed early I expect a stalking pace then unleash late. Could be a good each-way if headgear sparks that consistent previous form, so the mark of 55 here shouts place value to me.
