Spaceman (9) won a C4 maiden here back in June but was only able to grab a third on C4 handicap debut when stepping up to 7f. He will have come on for that run, and I can only expect more at the same trip with Oisin Orr still on top, who seems to be on a bit of a roll of late.

Hit form last time out at Kempton when needed. The line should come on for that. Up 4 lb. Holds every chance.

He's A Gentleman is one I definitely wanted on side back at Wolverhampton. His record around here speaks for itself, with multiple course wins, and earlier this year he went agonisingly close twice - beaten just a nose over 1m1f before finishing second by a neck over 7f. He's a six-time winner overall with five of those victories coming on the all-weather, so this is very much his type of setup. He doesn't need to improve dramatically to get involved if returning to his better Wolverhampton form, and at 9/1 with three places I think there's solid each-way value.

Packetofbiscuits looks overpriced at 18/1. He's a C&D winner and put together a strong 1-1-2 sequence over 7f on the AW earlier this year, with that second coming off the same mark of 75. A break may have freshened him up after a couple of below-par runs, and, back under conditions that suit, he has solid each-way claims.

Shaw Park (10) has not won since last May at Southwell in a C4 off a 68 at 7f but has been placed three times in the low 70s in C4 and C5. As I always say, you cannot rule out a Scott Dixon runner, especially as my pick today has dropped back to that last winning mark at 7f and C4 with a handy 5 lb claimer in the saddle. Could have a chance each-way.
