Excuses in a strong handicap last time out when having no room to challenge. He's best judged on his previous start when beaten just by a shd, high rating posted, the form boosted by the winner since. On a winnable mark and still room for some improvement.

Has won three times and runner-up twice since arriving from James Ferguson's stable. Streps is up in trip this evening and is versatile in the way he's ridden. He can race off the front end or come from behind. Upped six pounds for that front-running display at Wolverhampton last time and could well be ahead of the revised mark still.

Claymore is in stall 2, with a current handicap of 95. He has previously won over this distance and shows decent form on similar going. Eighth last time, beaten 4 lengths off this mark, but scored by 2 three starts back at Newmarket. Trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam and jockey Silvestre De Sousa team up with an 8% win rate over this distance, and 20% on similar going. Likely to be prominent early, every chance if he regains form.

I've been a fan of the 9yo veteran Andaleep for quite a few years now. He continues to turn back the years with some very good form this season including a win in the Racing League 2 runs ago over today's trip at Yarmouth. He is ground versatile and is top rated tonight. I think he has as good a chance of any of these.

Arrives here in good form, having won 2 of its last 3 outings. A winner over this distance, and the stable won this race last year. So once again, a runner from this trainer looks good each way value.

Bounced back from a disappointing run in a stronger race at York when finishing a close 3rd over a slightly shorter trip next time at Ripon. Has since posted three respectable efforts at York with the latest seeing him finish a close 5th over an extended 10f off a mark of 82. Goes up to 12f here from the same mark and looks to hold decent claims.

Daniel & Claire Kubler train Londoner, who has raced for the yard five times, winning at Newcastle on the all-weather and being a close finisher, being placed in the next three outings. He started out with Aiden O'Brien, then went to Jim Goldie's stable, who could not achieve a win with him but did have him well handicapped to be of substance. This Saxon Warrior-sired gelding is still handicapped to be involved even off 87, as he did race off ten pounds plus more in the past.

Auld Toon Loon has had excuses for his three runs since the break but did open this term with a C2 second off a 94, which makes me think that today's C2 off a 95 could be worth an EW if getting a better start.

Can front run and come with a run, a versatile horse with Gracie Mack on board. Won off 2lb lower last September.Probably not up to this class 2 for winning purposes but priced for an E/W.
