Still lightly raced for eight, having only 11 runs. Did nothing in seven hurdles despite trying headgear. Changed trainer two times, then tried chasing and changed trainer again. Current yard, despite the poor previous form, won over fences when the horse still went off at 3/1. Liked the good ground, jumped well and won well. The step up another four furlongs seems odd on that, but they must feel it's a plus as there are plenty of two-mile races elsewhere. Jockey is up-and-coming and able to claim seven pounds here. That's 10 pounds less than the favourite.
