Captain Cool has won two chases since his last run over hurdles, including a win by 18 lengths last time off 114 only seven days ago. He is switched back to hurdles off only 109 and should win.

Squeezebox looks the one to beat here with solid novice form behind him, and the stable usually gets them ready and has good results when taking them handicapping.

Pahlavi looks a bit more interesting back over hurdles. He’s been placed at this distance before. He handles good ground, and the return from chasing should suit him better than that latest Limerick run. He is inconsistent, though, so I’d want to see him travel better and finish stronger than he did last time. Still, with the tongue strap back on and Paddy Hanlon taking off 5 lb, he looks to have a fair chance here.
