Just three runs this year for the 4yo filly. She went close on her return in a 5f, 15 runner, Listed contest. Two weeks ago she lost by a short head in an 11 runner class 2 handicap, a bit short of room that day. Not a great jockey in the saddle that day. A similar class 2 handicap today, the returning jockey has won on her previously and he has ridden 9 winners in the last two weeks for a big 31% strike rate.

Badri won three consecutive races here at Pontefract before running poorly last time at Windsor. Should go well again from stall 1 and may confirm the form of his penultimate race where he caught and beat Baker Blue in the final furlong.

High-class performer who hasn't won for over a year now but went close at Epsom and Chester in June. Dropped a lb for what wasn't a bad effort at Goodwood last time, and will surely be very dangerous off this career-low mark today.

A front-runner who shouldn't get much competition for the lead. The trainer really likes this horse, and he has run really well in the last two races. If he gets the lead (which I suspect he will), he is good value for a place. He is now 8 pounds better off than Badri, who he was a very close second to a few starts back. That weight swing should be enough to see him go close.
