Was a big eyecatcher on seasonal debut over C&D when finishing well despite not getting the clearest of passages. Finished 4th but might of been a lot closer and the first time tongue tie seemed to bring improvement. If working the oracle again has to be the ew play here. Off the same mark and with yard banging I three winners from their last 10 sent out in the last few weeks this one looks sure to go close. A stiff 6f suits and if getting the splits today can win.

After a quiet spell, the trainer is now back among the winners. This runner is an unexposed sort who enters handicaps for the first time. Interestingly, he has been put into a sprint race and looks like one who will improve.

Maldevious is not out of this. Despite carrying more weight than she has previously, she tends not to see her races out. However, her form figures stack up favourably in this contest. The current favourite, Concert, may have excuses at Bath last time out. She was out of her depth on anything she achieved previously. I make her a false favourite here today. At the current price of 12/1, Maldevious is a solid each-way chance.
