Very lightly raced 7 year old with only 2 runs under his belt albeit both winning runs firstly on debut at Doncaster over 19f on soft & then last time out over CD on good to soft / soft in places & looks likely to show further improvement .

Lucky Bere has found his mojo when tackling distances further than two miles, with a win and a second at the twenty-furlong trip. Trainer Kayley Woollacott from Woolminstone, Somerset, has come here with the one runner and could produce a very good run, with good to soft ground being favourable.

Analiese comes here off a break. Since winning at Aintree she had her second successive win, and another five-pound rise asks more. But she is bottom weight and likes to make the running.

Latest win came with a comfortable success in a Class2 event at Plumpton in November. Followed that with a good effort to be a runner-up at Ascot. Led for a long way, despite a couple of jumping errors, before fading late in the Lanzarote at Kempton last time. Should find this easier.

Has to put a no-show behind her last time, so is a risky bet. She is very lightly raced and showed a lot of ability last season. She has the potential to be better than these rivals.

Yellow Star is a 6yo gelding trained by Gary & Josh Moore and ultimately hes unpredictable but has bags of ability. He won his maiden hurdle at Lingfield, beating Be Aware, and qualified for the Novices' Championship Handicap Hurdle Series Final at Sandown (Class 2), finishing 4/20, beaten just 3l behind Helnwein, Be Aware, Steel Ally, who are now rated 132, 147, 153 but not so good afterwards. He recently bounced back to form at Warwick and caught the eye of the stewards. He was bitterly disappointing in his last two starts, but there may be good reason. His two recent runs were at Kempton (121) and Ascot (120), both right-handed tracks; the latter at Ascot was over an unsuitable 23.5f trip with no previous form. Today he runs off 118 and drops back in trip, with the KEY ingredient being his return to a left-handed track ??' the scene of his two wins at Lingfield and Warwick, which are both sharp left-handed tracks. A reproduction of his best form (Sandown) could see Yellow Star surprise yet again in Class 3, which on paper looks far easier than his recent tasks at Kempton and Ascot.

Would not be surprised if this lightly raced sort still retains enough ability to take a race like this. Last win was in December 2023 at Aintree off 7 lb higher and also in a class higher. Patchy on the whole since, but his first run for this yard in December was OK after a 10-month break and he didn't enjoy heavy ground LTO. Interesting type.
