Forglen for me here with the jockey. I just think the jockey should be riding at Newcastle for the better prize money, but he's gone here for one ride instead, so I'll take it to go and win again.

Fornido looks can run very well again off this bargain mark. LTO was a step back in the right direction when fourth, beaten only 2 lb, over 1m 6f off 51, travelling well from off the pace before fading late, which says he’s competitive at this level. That ties in with last autumn’s win over the same trip off 48. Although he’s still 2 lb above that, his current rating of 50 still looks workable here.

5 time all-weather winner who stays all day. Won a couple of extended 2m handicaps at Wolverhampton in the second half of last year and has started this year off with a 2nd and a win last time out (either side of a poor run over shorter at Chelmsford). That win last time out was only by a head but the form has been given a boost since and today Rose Dawes gets to utilise her 5lb claim. The jockey is 3-4 for this trainer, is 2-2 in the last two weeks and she's got an excellent 7-17 record in 2026 with a level stakes profit of £76.38

A small e/w angle here from a pace perspective. It's 3m and some of these may have to make the running and not enjoy it, which may set it up for the ones racing off the pace. 2m is a good trip for this one and this mark now sees it at a point of being able to compete, at least for a place.

Sullivan Bay has won 2 of his 16 starts on the flat but is largely consistent, having been placed on 6 occasions. His last win was at Chelmsford in October 2024 off a mark of 52, and he returned to his best form at the same venue last month, finishing runner-up, beaten just a head. He is 2 lbs higher here but still 1 lb below his highest winning mark and looks like a good each-way bet with 4 places on offer.

Placed on two out of three starts at Lingfield and had some decent form with a couple of other places on all-weather recency.
