WESTCOMBE made it back-to-back wins when beating the re-opposing Charlie’s Choice by 2¼ lengths over this trip at Wolverhampton last time out. With the latter racing off the same mark, the selection is 6 lbs worse off today. On the bare result, he may not look appealing. However, aged 4, he looks the more progressive of the two and the yard has been in excellent form of late. This jockey/trainer combination has won twice from fifteen starts (strike rate: 13.33%, level-stakes profit: +4.10) over the past 14 days. He has been ridden from the front on his last two winning starts, and that is likely to be the order of the day again. If handling the track, he can be expected to prove very tough to pass, and he makes for a strong selection.

Runner-up on Taeta last time, but will be better suited stepping back up to 12f here and returned to Polytrack, a surface where he gained his sole win to date.

Looks to be racing on better terms today than the fav who beat it last time and has 6 lb more. This one actually quickened the best in that race as well.

Runner-up over course and distance on stable debut last month and likely to come on for that run. Remains on the same mark but takes a slight drop in grade to a (0-80) from (0-85).

It looks like the yard have now realised that this is the horse's optimum trip, with 2 places from 3 runs over it (off marks of 73 and 71). He races off 71 here, with blinkers kept on after seemingly helping the horse when applied for the first time last time out. Levey keeps the ride, and I think he'll attempt to hold on to the horse longer this time and not hit the front too soon.

Educator is only a pound above the last winning mark, which was recorded over this trip in April, so he might be able to put a lean spell behind him. The stable does well here and has had a decent stint of late. This is a slight easing in the quality of opposition, so there are each-way claims if the return here does the trick.

Raintown has won here six times and is back on his last winning mark of 70 from July in a C5 when Taylor was in the saddle claiming 3 lbs. His prior win here was in February off a 72 with no claim. He has won here in the past at today's trip in C4. I think we could be in with a chance in this return to C4 EW.
