Just six runs over hurdles for the 6yo, runner-up twice. He was 2nd of 14 last time out, stepping up in trip that day over this 23f C/D. Never getting to the winner but stayed on nicely from the rear. Top jockey Harry Cobden rode him for the first time that day and should have a better feel for the runner now. The next five runners behind him that day were rated 112??'117 ??' no rival rated over 100 in this handicap.

Looking For Larry changed yards in Aug and this OAP has not been great in 2025, but has been keeping better company than today in C2??'C4. His best run was in Jan under Sam Twiston??'Davies when he was a distant fourth in C4. Although he PU'd last month, that was at 3m1f, a trip he has not done well at of late. I think the drop to C5 today at 2m7f on GS gives him a chance to get back in the money with Sam again. EW 5P

He ran well when returning from a short break over fences last month and is now pitched back into a hurdles race over a course and distance where he has won previously. This is the weakest handicap hurdle he has been in and the lowest mark that he has carried. While the yard is not in good form, the trainer and jockey do okay here over this course and discipline. At the price, I cannot let him go unbacked.
