He hasn't had the cleanest run of form lately, but the handicapper has given him plenty of slack, letting his mark slide to a highly dangerous level. This 7-furlong trip on quick summer turf is his absolute optimum setup. He is a hold-up performer who relies on a strong early gallop to aim at. If the leaders go too fast up front, expect him to get a smooth tracking position and fly down the straight at a decent price
