Grabajabba looks a solid contender here. He finished 3rd in this race last year off a mark of 75, behind Alzahir, who is now rated 106 ??' strong form in the context of this race. He arrives off the back of another respectable 3rd last time out and lines up here from a 1 lb lower mark, which makes him well treated on that previous run. The only slight concern is the quick turnaround from his latest outing. But on form and handicapping, he has to be firmly in the mix.

The Hannon-Levey combination landed the first two races at Donny on day one and could land another winner here with An Outlaws Grace. This gelding made a winning juvenile debut but failed to build on that win. He had a tough campaign in which he ran some solid races in defeat. He has only had three runs since his juvenile season, each interrupted with a gap in between. He had a run on the AW last month and finished last of seven, but should be ready to go on from that run. If the yard can keep him going, he looks well handicapped for the coming year.

Winner at York last summer whose form tailed off thereafter but acts on a slow surface. Goes well fresh and returns today off just 1 lb above that last winning mark, so should run well.

This horse does most of his racing on the all-weather these days, but his record on the turf is pretty good. He's on a good mark, lower than his last all-weather and turf wins. A good claimer takes off a useful 7 lb. Decent each-way chance for the Easterbys.

Well-drawn UNDER THE TWILIGHT has a consistent record on turf and a great record when fresh, so is a tricky one to rule out here. She's four pounds lighter than when she finished third in this race last year and has to be considered if she's back in that sort of mood. Conditions look favourable, and if the gaps open up in the latter stages, she could get involved.
