Not won for a while. Went close at Carlisle earlier this month & finished 3rd at Pontefract last time out. Has a good chance here

Kelpie Grey finished 13th of 17 here at Ayr last time out, he was held up for a run at one stage, which was odd as he was drawn 18 widest of all on the straight course and they raced down the centre of the course, however, that was no excuse the rest were too good for him, he did however have at least two of the four behind him were better than most of these have raced against this year, In this nine runner race he will be much closer. The current favourite is Cotai Starlight who won a very weak race last time and looks a decent Lay to me. Great Profit also did not beat anything of any calibre home last time either, The dark horse in the race is Falcon Queen who has at least had decent horses behind her in her last two races. But I will stick with Kelpie Grey who is has proved he can be up to class five.

Just five career runs for the 3yo filly. She was a good 2L handicap winner over this 6f C/D last week, which was a first run on g/f ground and a first ride for Jason Hart on the filly and he returns for the ride today. Higher mark today but could take another step forward.

Been knocking on that win door this summer, particularly on this course. The step up in trip might get that door opened.

Water of Leith returns to a track he clearly loves and has a proven course record. As a previous course and distance winner here at Ayr over this 6f trip, he is dropping down to a Class 6 handicap today, making this a far more winnable task than previous races. Jim Goldie is an expert here.

Tap Dancer has done a lot of racing over further distances with Marcus Tregonnong. Now, with Jim Goldie, she is dropped down into sprinting company. Don't be surprised if she runs a big one here.

LANARRA was probably stretched too much by the seven furlongs here last time out, but is thrown in on the basis of two decent looking runs on the turf at six furlongs, in the two runs before. Both of these runs came from around this mark and she was sent off fav when last seen over this trip in this grade. Could outrun this price.

Joshua's Dream has dropped a long way in the weights since its last decent run, and it would be no shock for Goldie to find the key to getting a better run from his horse here today with Lauren Young booked to take. Another 5 lb off.
