Both of Another Ocana's wins have come here at Limerick, and she looks interesting off this mark. Her chase win was in April 2024 off 95, and she was also 4th of 15 here in March 2025 off 100. Having dropped to a mark of 89, she finished a distant 4th of 16 back here earlier this month. Down another 2 lb today, she can at least run into one of the five places on offer at decent odds.

This looks to be an open race. Shanroe Act did not excel over hurdles. However, now back in the chasing sphere, he should be much more comfortable and can win tonight.

At 40/1 odds, he presents a strong case for placing here, having established himself as a course specialist with three wins at this track, one of which was on heavy going. The expected conditions look ideal for him, and his current mark of 100 is significantly below his peak chase rating of 115.

Malbas won the opening race after the break a year ago. This gives cause for optimism ahead of today’s race. The chances of a podium finish are very real.
