Best form around today's trip. Last three runs have been over further, and this looks like a target race. No problem with the ground.

Five and a half lengths clear of the reopposing Folly Master last run. I still think this is a workable mark and could go in again for trainer and jockey. Hopefully he can beat TheManInTheAnorak, who has gone close the last couple of runs.

It's going to be a real slog here, and for that reason I'm happy to rule out any of the younger horses in this race. Low Style is a 9yo who comes here on the back of a good third last time out and from a stable whose runners are going really well at the moment. He loves this ground and has been placed in 4 of his 5 races that were off this handicap or higher. He looks sure to run his race and should go close.

This is a fairly consistent horse, and a couple of recent races have worked out well form-wise. Goes well with today's jockey, so looks set for a good race over a distance that suits.

Sarandon is a 6yo gelding trained by C.A. Murphy. He runs off a mark of 95 with a conditional 7 lb claim. Unlike most, he's relatively unexposed with just five career starts and represents a yard whose last two runners, Goraibhmaithagat and Sevante, have placed at 12-1 and 18-1, with the latter getting nabbed on the line at the Leopardstown Festival only yesterday. He was only beaten 5.25 lengths on his last start when sent off as short as 8-1 and could figure today given the trainer's current form and his unexposed profile in the context of this race.

Third in this race last year from three pounds higher. First run this year could have been just a pipe opener for this race in mind. Worth a look with an each-way play.

We're only 3 days into the month & im reaching but I genuinely thought Karl Thornton's 7 year old Gelding SHANROE NANCY didn't run too badly on penultimate here despite a 300+ day layoff & I thought this Son of RULE OF LAW would have gotten closer when keeping on from off the pace (due to being hampered early doors) when hampered (again) by a faller 2 out. Ignore the chase run I'm not even sure why he was sent over the tall timber. This is trainers only entry here today & arrives with his yard ticking over nicely currently 50% place strike rate the past month with a decent 35% place strike rate here @Fairyhouse the past 5 years. Jockey Daniel King gets the leg up & has a 100% win strike rate when riding for this yard the past year. Hopefully the Hoof Rust has gone now & back over hurdles we can get a better run it's risky though but I'm in at big 28/1 odds.
