Jazzit has been hitting the crossbar here at Dundalk in their last two starts. Last time out they finished 3rd, just beaten a length, and the run before that they finished 2nd, beaten less than a length. Those runs were over 6f, but today's drop to the minimum should not be a negative, as they can make this a test from the start. With several who like to make the running, this could be a fast-run race, which should play into Jazzit's hands. Cheekpieces introduced could settle things, and they should go mighty close with a similar run to their last couple. NAP

Snowballs races here today with Billy Lee on board and wearing a first-time visor. Billy Lee does well for this stable and, allowing for the lightly raced nature of this horse, should go well after an absence. This is a 0-60 handicap, after all, so this lightly raced type should be capable of being involved in the shake-up come the finish.

Twelve-race maiden who had shown very little until producing a career best over today's course and distance last time. A repeat of that form would see her in the mix, and any improvement at all could see her shed her maiden tag. Siobhan Rutledge, who rode her last time, is aboard a better fancied stablemate, but I suspect trainer John McConnell is looking to take advantage of the seven pounds which Reese Holohan is able to claim.

Jamie Powell has the ride on Whats It All About, who could be ready to run. Padraig Roche believes this filly has the substance to be of interest in this handicap. She has a good stall and can take a prominent position to be a threat.
