A trainer from England has won the last four runnings of this. Montassib is now eight, with twenty-four career runs and eight wins. He's been well targeted at races. He didn't manage a win last year. His quality is permanent, and he's more than capable of taking this race, which features in many stables' plans.

Power Glory looks the most balanced option in this sprint. The horse has strong back class. Useful figures, and the booking of Jamie Spencer adds confidence. If reproducing its better performance, it has a strong chance to outfinish the field.

Last year's winner James' Delight has the Shrewsbury booking of a top Irish jockey. Returning rated one pound lower than last year. Will benefit from a recent run at Doncaster. There's no reason to believe the stable won't want to take the prize money back to England again.

The Karl Burke yard is in very decent form, with a winner at Goodwood on Friday with Boiling Point. They could follow it up with their raid across the Irish Sea to land this Group 2 with Spycatcher. Ended last season with two wins: the Group 3 Prix de Seine-et-Oise at Chantilly over 5f in October and at Doncaster in Listed class over 6f. Was well fancied when down the field, finishing 10th of 12 at Doncaster just under two months ago, and is fancied to put them spot on for this. Ground non-dependent and 6f should suit them perfectly. Should be thereabouts at the finish in a competitive sprint Group race.
