The oldest football competition in the world has been won most by Arsenal; the Gunners have won the FA Cup on 14 occasions. Manchester United are hot on the London club’s heels with 13 wins. Both those giants have competed in the most finals, with 20 apiece.
The highest-scoring FA Cup final this century was the 3-3 classic of 2006 when Liverpool pegged back West Ham in injury time to force extra time and then penalties. Liverpool ultimately lifted the Cup with the Hammers missing 3 of their 4 penalties.
Manchester City equalled that when beating Watford 6-0 in the 2019 final, goals from David Silva, Gabriel Jesus (x2), MOTM Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling (x2) secured a comfortable win for City.
