PDC World Championship 2026 Tips

Luke Littler just gets better and better and is the standout player of 2024. He won eleven titles in 2024 at the young age of 17. The kid is a prodigy and can retain this title with ease in 2026. I have never seen effortless scoring like Littler achieves. He is incredible.

A former World Champion and a multiple-time major winner outside of that as well, Gerwyn Price is looking close to returning to his best this year, as well as looking in great shape physically. Obviously, defending champion Luke Littler is going to be the near even-money favorite to successfully go back to back. But Price is one of the very few players who do not have a losing head-to-head record against Littler, with them currently standing at 7 wins each against each other. He is also one of the rare two or three players who can stay with him in bursts of scoring. So at double-digit odds, I think he represents value to claim his own second World Championship before either Littler or Humphries do.

A massive price here for MVG. He won't be happy he is twelve to one, and he needs to make a statement as he has won only three of his last ten. It is only a matter of time until we see MVG back.

Josh Rock is emerging as a top 5 player in the world. He has steadily risen since bursting on the scene and has now backed up his haul of floor titles with a couple of European Tour titles on the stage. This year, he won the World Cup alongside Gurney for Northern Ireland. He is also starting to make serious headway in major TV events with notable wins over the likes of van Gerwen and Price. I think he will finish the year strongly and come the time of the World Championships, he could well enter the event as 3rd or 4th favorite at odds in the teens.

Bunting has had a great season and recently reached the final of the European Tour event and followed that up by winning the Players Event. At 29.00, he looks well worth a punt.

The Flying Scotsman did win on the Players Championship and European Tour circuits in 2025, and I do think he has one more run in the World Championship at the Alexandra Palace. Gary Anderson is a two-time world champion back in 2015 and 2016, and he was the runner-up as recent as 2021. I think the Scot will want to put last year's early exit to bed, and I do think Anderson can get to another world final.

Rob Cross was brilliant when he beat Phil Taylor in the World Championship a few years ago. I take a chance that he may repeat that form and pull off a surprise.

A very outside pick, but Woodhouse has only been improving the last few years and shown he can mix it on the big stage with the big boys. I think this is the year he finally gets a title under his belt. With a good 2025, I think he could go deep in the 2026 Worlds.
