PDC World Championship 2026 Tips

In 2024, Luke Littler went all the way to the World Championship final, losing to Luke Humphries. Last year, he went one better by going all the way to the final and beating Michael Van Gerwen in the 2025 World Championship final. I do think The Nuke can become a two-time World Champion by defending his title in 2026.

A semi finalist back in July at the World Matchplay and the Northern Irishman has shown he is ready to take the step up to the upper echelons of the game. He won the World Cup of Darts with Daryl Gurney and it has really given Rocky a lot of confidence to kick on and realise his potential. He won the 2022 World Youth Championship and I fancy Josh Rock can land the PDC World Championship at Ally Pally.

A massive price here for MVG. He won't be happy he is twelve to one, and he needs to make a statement as he has won only three of his last ten. It is only a matter of time until we see MVG back.

The Iceman won the World Championship in 2021, beating Gary Anderson in the final. He has reached the quarter-finals in three of the four years since. Gezzy has won other major events like the Grand Slam and the World Grand Prix. The way he played in the Premier League and is back enjoying his darts this past season, I am tipping Gerwyn Price will go all the way to the final of the 2026 World Championship.

Bunting has had a great season and recently reached the final of the European Tour event and followed that up by winning the Players Event. At 29.00, he looks well worth a punt.

The Flying Scotsman did win on the Players Championship and European Tour circuits in 2025, and I do think he has one more run in the World Championship at the Alexandra Palace. Gary Anderson is a two-time world champion back in 2015 and 2016, and he was the runner-up as recent as 2021. I think the Scot will want to put last year's early exit to bed, and I do think Anderson can get to another world final.

A very outside pick, but Woodhouse has only been improving the last few years and shown he can mix it on the big stage with the big boys. I think this is the year he finally gets a title under his belt. With a good 2025, I think he could go deep in the 2026 Worlds.
