- William Hill Free Bets for everyone with loads of buy one get one free offers. This is where you place a bet on one market and they give you a free bet on another.
Great range of markets with the most popular sports - particularly football, tennis and racing.
Depth is lacking a bit away from those main UK popular sports and events but a good general coverage.
We have had some negative feedback from members about the customer service and customer service staff at William Hill, but as one of the most popular and sometimes most hated of UK bookies (by those who lose especially!), perhaps this is to be expected.
Great football stats service supported by opta sports data.
Live streaming of UK and Irish racing as well as SerieA and Uefa Europa league fixtures. Coverage is improving, as is the spread of in play markets available. And bet £1 or more on any UK or Irish horse race and you qualify to watch the action live on site.
They have Best Odds Guaranteed on Greyhounds - if you take their Early Price or a Board Price then they'll pay out on the SP if it's bigger.

Never had a problem with William Hill, they are usually very good prices on the football and offer best odds gaurenteed on horse racing, lots of offers from them too. They regularly have no loss offers on various slots games, so it's always useful to keep a spare £10 in their to take full advantage of some free money. For depositing purposes, I just wish they would lower their minimum deposit to £5 not £10.
Main reason i use William Hill is for the meeting aggregate distance and favourite markets, these usually top other book makers. They have a sound set of special markets and most sports are covered. Few things I don't like are on the main horse racing page it gives you the next 3 races yet this includes foreign races such as Arlington, i'd much prefer to have a UK only option as its sometimes hard to keep track. The football markets are generally good better in play options would be better but all in all a solid sound bookmaker.
watching replays of lto plays a big part in my bettig
Quality site right up there with Bet365. Loads of matches and markets. Doesn't have asian handicaps though which is a bit annoying. Great odds and no problems with withdrawls. Highly recommended.
I've had an account with Hills for around 5 years now. They have a good customer service but it can sometimes take a while to get through to them as you can guess there is a lot of people trying to contact them. I think Hills are one of the bookmakers that would come to mind if you were to name the top three biggest bookmakers. The pros about this company are decent odds, good customer service and an easy to navigate website. I do think there is better bookmakers to bet with though and that is just my opinion Bet365, Ladbrokes to name a few
Very good bookies imo, easy site layout, quick withdrawals, plenty of inplay betting, but best of all is the willhill radioinplay, shop, horse racing..would recommend it highly..
Very bad customer service. Very difficult to get the payouts and in many cases they promote a bonus that does not really exist

I have looooooooong been a Hills customer even worked for them in-store at one point not anymore, however as a customer they are not nearly as good as other bookies in a number of ways. I have been betting with them for a number of years, one day tried to place a £500 treble, trader limited my stake to £27.18 which was ridiculous to this day it still puzzles me. They dont reward loyal customers like other sites do and they certainly do not offer the best prices on the market, they will on offer best prices on say Boreham Utd beating barcelona 5-1 but thats only because its impossible. They do have a nicely laid out site and ok payout times except for weekends when they dont process till sunday!
If football is your bag then William Hill probably offer the best prices and their website is pretty easy to navigate around. Minor sports like American Football seem to suffer though and not every match is priced up. My only problem was in the summer where they took ages to play out on Sri Lanka winning their world cup 20/20 group. Three online chats later and after being told it hadn't been decided, I finally got my money. All in all, I like their website which makes it quick and easy and with so much competition out there it makes a lot of difference. I also found their free bet offer rewarding and simple which can not be said for some other firms.
had a bet in play my bet went green which means bet excepted my account was debited accordingly but next day was suprised to see my account had the stake returned into my accoun when i phoned and asked what was going on i was told that my bet was not excepted because of price change online punters will know if the bet is not excepted it will straight away go RED which did not happen i have now closed the acount & william will not another penny from me
