getting better

by gecko6, Adelaide, 08 September 2009

sporting odds was a good site I liked as very easy to use and decent odds - they are now incorporated with sportingbet who have improved hugely fromw hen I first used them years ago - the website is much better than previously and they offer a good range although could improve their odds generally - overall some good some bad points so overall about average but the improvements bode well

Middle of the road

by cjfinno, aberdeen, 07 June 2014

Good site and app. Prices are poorer than most. Lots of markets and quick payouts. Nothing spectacular though.

Poor site - restricted immediately

by Pumpy Pig, Manchester, 22 May 2014

The site is prone to freezing more than others and they restrict almost immediately to ridiculous amounts. They put odds up that are competitive, but then don't allow you to bet more than pence. Avoid.

Getting better and have good offers

by humphries, Somerset, 15 February 2014

Sportingbet were the first bookmaker I used, and since then, the website has improved so it's easier to use than in the past. They don't offer video, the site seems to go down for maintenance more than other sites, and some games can be suspended in-play for some time, while other sites don't suspend the betting. On the plus side, they do offer great deals the more you bet with them, have a decent amount of in-play games, provide a points system where the more you bet, the more points you get. This means you can get some cash-back and perhaps enter the 'elite area' where you then have the service of a VIP manager. This area has offers such as double your stake back if you are successful with a triple bet.

Refused Free Bet

by ishraf, Plymouth, 10 September 2012

I was refused the free bet accused of placing an arbitrage bet. I was betting on the horse racing favourite so I don't see how it could be arbitrage. A google search of "Sporting Bet Refusing Free Bets" shows other users experiencing the same problems. The seem to be wriggling out of giving anybody a free bet with the arbitrage rule. Avoid them like the plague. Stick with Paddy Power.
