Piggy Riches 2 Megaways is played on a grid with 6 reels and 2-7 rows, and there are up to 117,649 paylines with the Megaways mechanic.  Winning combinations are formed when you land 2 or more matching symbols for the highest value symbol - the sack of gold coins -  which land from left to right, beginning from the leftmost reel. The rest of the character symbols need 3 or more matching symbols for a win.

Hold & Respin feature

If you land 3+ Scatters the Hold & Respin bonus feature is triggered with 3 free spins. However, many Scatters trigger the bonus round, this amount gives you that same number of positions on each reel so 3 Scatters = 3 positions on the reels.

Before the bonus round begins you get to spin the wheel, which you can see below which gives you 2 - 15 Cash symbols and 1 to 5 'Saves. 'When you play this special bonus round Cash symbols are placed on the reels while the bonus round plays out. And you’ll see your amount of Saves are shown above the reels.

During the Hold & Respin bonus, only Cash symbols or empty symbols may land. Cash symbols have values of 1 x - 10 x the bet, and they lock into the reels when they land. If you land a Cash or special symbol, this resets the spin amount to 3. When spins run out, this is when your Saves kick in. A Save will be used to place a Cash symbol on an empty position on the reels. If there are still empty positions, the spin count resets to 3. If all positions are filled, any remaining Saves add their value to the total win. 

The Hold & Respin bonus round features 7 special symbols:

• Piggy Bank - the Piggy Bank symbol holds a multiplier value, of between 1 x  - 10x the bet. When a Piggy Bank symbol lands, it breaks, and its value is added to all adjacent positions (horizontally, vertically and diagonally) that are empty or are occupied by a Cash symbol. On the empty positions, a Cash symbol with this value is placed, while on positions where a Cash symbol is already present, the value is added to the value of the Cash symbol.  
• Money Bag – this symbol Symbol holds a value of  30 x - 100 x the bet. When Money Bag symbols land on the reels they lock for the duration of the bonus round.
• Gentleman Pig – this symbol holds a value starting at 5x the bet. The current value of Gentleman Pig is displayed above the reels in the bonus round. Each Gentleman Pig symbol that lands in a spin increases the values of all Cash and Money Bag symbols on the reels by its current value. It also increases the value of each Purse symbol present on the reels, multiplied by the number of symbols collected in the Purse. Following that, the value of Gentleman Pig above the reels is increased for the following spins for each Gentleman Pig that landed. The value of Gentleman Pig increases as follows: 5x, 10x, 15x, 25x, 50x, 100x and resets at the end of the bonus round. Gentleman Pig symbols do not lock on the reels.
• Lady Pig - this symbol holds a multiplier, starting at x1. The current multiplier of Lady Pig is always displayed above the reels in the bonus round. Each Lady Pig symbol that lands in a spin collects the value of all Cash, Purse and Money Bag symbols on the reels and leaves a Present on its position with their combined value, multiplied by the current multiplier of Lady Pig. Following that, the multiplier of Lady Pig above the reels increases for the following spins by 1 for each Lady Pig that landed. The multiplier of Lady Pig resets at the end of the bonus round. The Presents left by Lady Pig are locked on the reels for the duration of the bonus round.
• Credit Cards – whenever this symbol lands it increases the current value of both Gentleman Pig and Lady Pig above the reels for the current and the following spins. The value of Gentleman Pig is increased to the next possible value, while the multiplier of Lady Pig is increased by 1. If Gentleman Pig has reached his maximum value, then the Credit Cards symbol only increases the multiplier of Lady Pig. Credit Card symbols do not lock on the reels.
• Purse – when this symbol lands, it collects all Cash symbols present on the reels, adding up their value on the Purse and removing the symbols, freeing up their positions. Each Purse will continue collecting all symbols present on the reels until a minimum of 5 Cash symbols are collected. When Purse symbols land on the reels, they lock in for the duration of the bonus round. If more than 1 Purse is present, all Purses that have not yet collected at least 5 Cash symbols will collect all present Cash symbols on the reels.
• Key – when this lands it adds 1 additional row on top of the reels up to a maximum of 7 rows. Key symbols cannot land after all rows are unlocked and Key symbols do not lock on the reels.
• Money Bag – the Money Bag symbol holds a value of 30x - 100x the bet. When Money Bag symbols land on the reels they lock for the duration of the bonus round.

If more than one special symbol lands in a spin, the order in which they activate is as follows: Piggy Bank, Credit Cards, Gentleman Pig, Lady Pig, Purse and Key. The bonus round ends if no Cash or special symbols land in 3 consecutive spins after all Saves have been used, or all positions on the reels are filled with locked symbols.

Super Wilds

Super Wild symbols may land on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5, but they can not land at the same time on reels 2 and 3. The Super Wilds cover an entire reel and have a symbol multiplier of between x2 - x7. The symbol multiplier represents how many symbols the Super Wilds are being counted for the win calculations. Super Wilds do not disappear after participating in a win.
