As with all of our slot game reviews it’s important that we go through the different features in the game so that we really get to grips with it before we play.
Through our review, we will delve into the theme of Cowboy Coins and provide comprehensive information about the reels and paylines.
Theme – Wild West
The theme of Cowboy Coins is unsurprisingly the wild west with Cowboys playing a massive part in this game with their premium symbols all different Cowboys and Cowgirls. The Western theme is one that we’ve seen frequently across slot games in recent months and even down the years so it takes a big effort to try and break into an already busy space in the industry.
Cowboy Coins tries to do that but there is nothing that it does that is different to what we’ve seen before in terms of the theme with the bulk of the Wild West graphics things that we’ve seen previously.
Money Symbols Feature
Cowboy Coins has a base game feature with the money symbols that drop on the reels with different money symbols able to be dropped on reels 2,3,4 and 5. These symbols have values of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x and 9x and can be triggered in two ways. Firstly is with the Payer symbol which appears on reel 1 only. This symbol is triggered with money symbols and adds the value on that symbol to the money symbols then all of the values add together and are paid.
The second way it can be triggered is through landing the Collector symbol on the 6th reel. The collector symbol lands with a random value and then the value of the money symbols and the collector symbol is added together and paid.
Reels
Cowboy Coins features 3-4-4-4-4-3 reels.
Paylines
There are 2,304 paylines in Cowboy Coins.

Free Spins
The Free Spins feature in Cowboy Coins triggers when you hit 3 or more scatter symbols anywhere on the screen. In this round we only see the money symbols, special symbols and blank spaces on the reels. The free spins round starts with 3 respins and resets back to 3 every time a money or special symbol is hit on the reels. The amount of scatter symbols you hit equates to how many money symbols you start with and then you can hit some massive special symbols which is where you start to see the bigger wins in this game. The special symbols you can land are as follows:
Payer -
Payer symbol lands on the left reel in the bonus. The payers value is added to the money symbols and then those money symbols and payers value are added together and paid.
Super Payer -
Super Payer symbol also appears on the left reel, but the difference to the normal payer is that this one lands on every single respin and adds to all money symbols then all of those symbols and the Super Payer symbol is added together and paid.
Multi Collector -
Multi Collector’s can only land on the top reel in the bonus and this pays the value of the symbol itself plus the value of a random money symbol that is on the screen at a random number of times from 2 to 30.
Super Multi Collector -
Super Multi Collector’s are the same as the normal Multi Collector in that it does exactly the same thing, but this hits on every single respin rather than just the once.
Collector -
The Collector symbol appears on the right side of the bonus reel and collectors the value of all the money symbols on the screen and adds it to the value it has when it lands and pays out.
Super Collector -
Same again. Same as the normal collector symbol but this one lands on every single respin to pay its value plus the value of all money symbols on the screen.
Double Booster -
The Double Booster only appears on the bottom reel in the bonus. This one hits with a random value and selects 2 to 5 random money symbols and doubles their values.
Super Double Booster -
The Super Double Booster is the same as the normal one but again this one lands on every single respin. Once again this symbol repeats on every single respin.

Play Experience & First Impressions
Our play experience of Cowboy Coins is a mixed one with the game having so much promise but just not quite hitting the high heights of games that it’s trying to go up against. The amount of coin hold’n’spin games that we’ve seen across different slot providers in recent months and years means it’s such a hard market to get into in terms of these types of games, but Cowboy Coins does put up a good fight against the others.
It is still a very good game though with the graphics impressing us even though they are fairly generic for a Pragmatic Play game and the soundtrack hits you instantly with the generic Wild West sounds too.
