Group E will be a battle between Spain and Germany to win

Spain and Germany face off in arguably the toughest group to call out of the whole of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Bookies say that it will be a two horse race in this group with the two favourites both evens to top the group and go through as winners.

BetVictor make both Spain and Germany evens to win Group E and it does seem like a coin toss around who will win the group.

Group E Winner Odds Probability
Spain 1/1 50.0%
Germany 1/1 50.0%
Japan 12/1 7.7%
Costa Rica 50/1 2.0%

Japan and Costa Rica are both long odds shots to win Group E and according to the betting odds they have a minimal chance of winning the group.

It will likely be the Spain v Germany game that decides the winner of Group E with both sides given a 50% chance according to the betting odds!

Alvaro Morata best chance of Golden Boot out of this group

Spanish striker Alvaro Morata is 40/1 to win the Golden Boot at the World Cup this year and is Group E's best chance of doing so.

Germany go into the World Cup without a recognised striker and it's Kai Havertz who is the best chance for them to win the Golden Boot.

The latest bookmaker odds make Havertz a 50/1 shot for the Golden Boot at this year's World Cup.
