France are the 11/10 favourites to win the World Cup after beating England on Saturday

France have been installed as the favourites with bookies for the World Cup ahead of the midweek Semi-Final ties on the way.

The French side beat Gareth Southgate's England by two goals to one on Saturday evening and this saw their odds tumble down to 11/10 to win the tournament.

Bet365 give France a 47% chance of winning the World Cup in back-to-back tournaments and they'd become the first country to do so since Brazil in 1962.

World Cup 2022 Winner Odds Probability
France 11/10 47.6%
Argentina 17/10 37.0%
Croatia 15/2 11.8%
Morocco 9/1 10.0%

Croatia and Morocco are by far the underdogs in both of their Semi-Final fixtures but it's been a tournament for the underdogs so far.

France are now the 11/10 favourites to win the World Cup for a second time in a row after they beat England in the Quarter-Final stage on Saturday night.

Lionel Messi's Argentina are the 17/10 second favourites to win the tournament

Argentina are the second favourites to win the World Cup according to the latest betting odds after Brazil and Portugal were both eliminated in the Quarters.

Bookies fully expect an Argentina v France final on Sunday but it's not going to be straightforward for either side with Croatia and Morocco both strong teams.

Lionel Messi has been one of the players of the tournament so far and he is 5/4 to win the FIFA Golden Ball award.

France forward Kylian Mbappe remains the favourite to win the Golden Boot at the World Cup after still leading the way in the race.

Mbappe is currently on 5 goals and top of the leaderboard just ahead of Lionel Messi and Olivier Giroud who are both on 4 goals.

It looks like a three horse race for the Golden Boot with Argentina striker Julian Alvarez a 66/1 shot after scoring 2 goals so far.

World Cup Golden Boot Winner Odds Probability
Kylian Mbappe 1/2 66.7%
Lionel Messi 11/4 26.7%
Olivier Giroud 6/1 14.3%
Julian Alvarez 66/1 1.5%
