Bookmakers now make it 7/1 that the UK rejoins the EU before 2026

Betting is now available on whether or not the UK will rejoin the EU before 2026 and bookmakers are offering odds for and against that happening.

The latest betting odds are at 7/1 that the UK rejoins the EU in the next couple of years with those odds suggesting there's a 7% chance they do so.

On the other hand, for the UK to remain as they are now outside of the EU the latest odds are at 1/20 with an implied probability of 95% that they don't rejoin.

Reports from the Daily Mail earlier this week saw Tony Blair say that the UK is 'too weak' to rejoin the EU as the economy is currently 'on it's knees'.

Will the UK rejoin the EU by 2026? Odds Probability
Yes 7/1 12.5%

58% of Britons now want to rejoin EU according to new survey

The proportion of Britons who want to rejoin the EU now sits at 58% according to data from YouGov's latest Brexit survey according to The Guardian last month.

That figure is slightly down from the 60% it was at back in February but there has been a massive rise since early 2021.

We're more than 7 years on from the Brexit referendum and it goes to say that there are more Britons who feel it should be reversed than not now according to the polls.
