Betting market for Prince Harry to attend King Charles III coronation now says it's 1/4 that he does

Prince Harry is in the UK this week to make an unexpected appearance at the High Court in Associated Newspapers hearing alongside singer Sir Elton John.

Harry's appearance in the UK instantly brings up discussion and further betting odds around King Charles III's coronation in just over a month's time and whether or not the Prince will attend.

The odds have drifted very slightly from the 1/5 he was to attend back at the start of the month to 1/4 now following reports in The Telegraph that the King is 'too busy' to see his son this week.

That has instantly made the market change with Harry now given a 75% chance of attending the Coronation from the 83% that he was at the beginning of March.

Odds now suggest there's a 26% chance that he doesn't attend May's coronation

The betting market now gives an implied probability of just over 26% that Harry doesn't attend the Coronation at the beginning of May.

It may well be that Harry is upset that his father is reportedly too busy to meet him this week despite the King's state visit to France, which was supposed to happen at the start of the week, getting cancelled three days earlier.

It looks likely that the Sussexes will not appear on the balcony as part of the Coronation, if they do attend, after they left Royal duties.
