Latest odds now give 48% chance that GTA 6 will be delayed

Betting sites continue to give odds on when the highly anticipated next game in the Grand Theft Auto franchise will be released with the latest odds shortening on a delay happening.

The past week has seen the odds slashed from 2/1 into 21/20 for GTA 6 not to be released in 2025 which game delays not uncommon in that section of the entertainment world.

That shortening of the odds for GTA 6 to be delayed has unsurprisingly seen the market drift for the game to be released this year from a 1/2 shot to 4/5.

Rockstar Games has been fairly quiet when it comes to any sort of information around the games release and it's still uncertain when we will get the next update.

What the expert says...
Silence from Rockstar Games will of course be worrying fans of the GTA franchise with no further comments around release dates and betting odds around the release have shortened on there being a delay beyond 2025's original date.

No release date set but Fall 2025 originally pencilled in

As we said earlier, we've not seen any specific information come out from Rockstar Games since the initial announcement of GTA VI.

The original trailer ended confirming a Fall 2025 release date, or Autumn here in the UK, and all systems are go for that to happen as it currently stands.

That should mean that we see the game released around September time with Grand Theft Auto 5 coming out back in September 2013.

GTA 5 was delayed though, with that release coming months after it was originally pencilled in for Spring 2013.

Only one trailer has been released for the game so far

GTA 6 is the most anticipated game of all-time but we've still only seen one trailer released for the game with Rockstar Games not teasing anything extra.

The game doesn't exactly need extensive marketing to make it as big as it will be, but fans of the series will be hoping for another trailer in the coming weeks.

Grand Theft Auto VI's only trailer so far is shown below:
