  • John Cena retires in December after a farewell tour including Survivor Series and a final match.
  • The Rock is 4/6 favourite to induct Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame.
  • Randy Orton (6/4) and Triple H (2/1) are also leading contenders.

Cena’s Retirement Tour Nears Its Finale

WWE legend John Cena is heading towards the end of his iconic in-ring career, with a farewell tour scheduled to conclude on December 13 in what is expected to be his final match.

Cena announced his retirement in July last year and ever since it's been a whirlwind retirement tour against a series of high profile names.

Key stops include WWE Wrestlepalooza (Sept 20), Crown Jewel: Perth (Oct 11) and the Survivor Series (Nov 29) before Cena bows out for good.

Given his legendary status, induction into the WWE Hall of Fame is considered inevitable and bookmakers are already offering odds on who will induct him.

The Rock is odds-on to be the person to induct Cena and it would make perfect sense after the rivalries the two have had over the years.

What the expert says...
The Rock feels the most likely option given their shared WrestleMania history, but Randy Orton at 6/4 shouldn’t be ignored as their rivalry was the backbone of WWE for years.
