Labour 1/7 favourites to win the Wellingborough By-Election next month

Two constituencies are up for grabs next month with Wellingborough and Kingswood both facing By-Election's and bookmakers are now offering odds on which party will win the seat.

Labour are the heavy favourites to win the Wellingborough seat with the latest betting odds currently putting them at the top of the betting market with odds of 1/7.

The By-Election is taking place in Wellingborough after former MP Peter Bone was suspended due to allegations around his workplace behaviour and his partner Helen Harrison is standing to replace him.

Harrison has said she believes the allegations against Bone are untrue but can't say more as she was "required by the parliamentary authorities to sign a confidentiality agreement".

Bookies don't give her a massive chance at next month's By-Election with the latest betting odds suggesting an 18% implied probability of a Conservative win at next month's polls.

Labour also heavy favourites to win the Kingswood By-Election

Labour are even heavier favourites for the Kingswood constituency with the latest betting odds putting them clear at 1/12 to win the seat ahead of next month's By-Election.

Kingswood will split up into North East Somerset and Hanham, Bristol North East, and Filton and Bradley Stoke at the next General Election which means the winner of next month's By-Election will only be an MP for a number of months.

This hasn't stopped Labour MP Damien Egan go hard on the campaign trail for the election though and the betting odds suggest a 92% chance he wins.
