UK & Ireland now 1/20 to host the 2028 Euro's according to latest betting odds
Back in April the UK & Ireland bid for Euro 2028 was finally submitted with a detailed plan put in place that shows how the nations will host the event.
This instantly made UK Betting Sites offer odds for the host of the 2028 European Championship with the UK & Ireland the instant favourites.
Betway now make that bid the 1/20 favourite in the betting market against Turkey who are 15/2 to host the event in 2028.
Those betting odds now suggest that there's a 95% chance of the UK & Ireland hosting the event with Turkey having just an 11% probability.
Euro 2028 Host Bid Winner | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
UK & Ireland | 1/20 | 95.2% |
Turkey | 15/2 | 11.8% |
Turkey are only rivals for Euro 2028 hosting with decision expected in September this year
UEFA declared that Turkey are the only other bidder for Euro 2028 against that UK & Ireland bid with the country trying to host the event numerous times.
Turkey had tried to bid for Euro 2024 but Germany won that bid and they'll be hoping that that changes this time round with a winning bid here.
The country is also going for hosting Euro 2032 and UEFA said that "In the forthcoming months, the UEFA administration will evaluate each of the bids".
