Tom Ball Shoots to the Top of the Betting for BGT after Sensational 3rd Semi-Final Win

I've spent over 20 years inside the betting industry. I'll guide you to avoid the hype, ignore the noise, and steer clear of the common pitfalls that catch out everyday punters.

  • Tom Balls wins 3rd Semi Final and placed as favourite to win outright by bookmakers.
  • Betting sites cut Eva Abley's price in half to just 10/1 after she win judges vote
  • Immi Davis remains in betting despite elimination after mention of a possible wildcard entry to the final
  • Maxwell Thorpe drifts slightly in the market and is now odds against according to bookies.

Sensational 23 year old teacher and singer was the last act to perform on Britain's Got Talent on Wednesday night in the third Semi-final and he blew everyone away and won the public vote to ensure a place in the final on Sunday night and a swath of fans launched into his chance by betting on Britains Got Talent to be won by the West Sussex warbler.

Betting sites immediately reacted by placing him at top of the market as odds on favourite to win, displacing Maxwell Thorpe who had done the same on the first SF on Monday night.

Tom Ball is the second unassuming talent to win a BGT Semi-Final this year and has replaced MAxwell Thorpe at the head of the betting with bookmakers. He feels a more natural fit for a performance in the Royal Variety performance and is without doubt the act everyone else will be looking to beat, despite a poor record for singers in this tv show, producing just 2 winners in the last 10 series.

Joining Tom in the final was Young Comedian Eva Abley who had David Walliams, The audience [and me] in stitches with her superb delivery of jokes, with Simon Cowel being the target on more than one occasion.

She progressed after being the judges choice against magician Keeichi Iwasaki who was third but eliminated.

Look out for the Wildcards

Immi Davis is a sensation, and for just 9 years of age performed in a manner that belied her age, and size for that matter. With comments from Cowell at the end that she should be in the final, and the fact the semis will only produce 10 acts from qualification we can expect Immi to get one of those wildcards as the final line up is extended to at least 12 performers on Sunday.

Immi Davis was amazing on the night, singing in a fashion that makes a mockery of being just 9 years of age. She remains in the betting with bookmakers, because Simon Cowell, made her sing acapella after her performance to show the crowd even more ability and then mentioned she should be a wild card in the final - Watch this space.

Who in in tonight's BGT Semi-Final

The fourth semi-final takes place live on ITV on Thursday 2nd June at 8pm, and these are the 8 acts lining up to compete for another two places in Sunday night's Finale.

  1. Dame Nation - Song and Dance
  2. The Frontline Singers - Singers
  3. The Phantom - Magic
  4. Titan the Robot - Robot
  5. Five Star Boys - Dance
  6. Mary P - Singer
  7. Stefano Paolini - Comedy
  8. Loren Allred - Singer
Loren Allred has been given top of the bill, so we might expect her to progress, but the line up is strong, with the Dame Nation and 5 Star Boys looking good to progress too.
