Maxwell Thorpe predictably won the audience vote to be the winner of the first Semi-Final of Britain's Got Talent on Monday night and secured a position in the final, which saw betting sites shorten his price once again to just EVENS representing a 50% chance of overall victory. He was just 7/4 prior to the show but the bookmakers saw even more support after he was voted through and they had to cut his price
After a judge's split decision between Magician Junwoo and young ventriloquist Jamie Leahey for the other place in the final on Sunday, we were taken to the public vote once again where the youngster from St Helens will take his chicken 'Chuck' with him to the finale.
