While the auditions may be over for the Britain's Got Talent competitors, the Buzzers, Red Crosses and action is far from finished as Britain's favourite talent show moves into live Semi-Finals week.

Every night from Monday 30th May, there are 5 live semi-finals where two acts will go through each night to the Live Grand Finale on Sunday 5th June, showing on ITV at 7:30pm

Teacher and Singer Tom Ball was favourite from week 1 until Maxwell Thorpe arrived with his operatic performance. Now the live semi-finals take place for 5 consecutive nights, and we get to discover who will compete in the Grand Final on Sunday.

Maxwell Thorpe remains the favourite to win outright after his surprise and nervous  Operatic performance, whilst Tom Ball who got his Yes's on the very first audition show remains right behind him in betting sites odds.

Singers and Dancers are The Most Widely Represented

There are 14 Singers in the semi-finals, 10 dance acts and 5 Magic acts, 6 Comedians or Ventriloquists, and then a whole host of specialist acts from Martial Arts through to Titan the Robot.

Despite making up 14 of the 50 acts looking to get through to the grand final on Sunday, Singers do not have a great record on BGT with only 2 winnings outright in the last 10 seasons.

Comedy Acts have won 2 of the last three completed shows, whilst we have had only 2 Singers win the final since 2011. Something to bear in mind, given they are the most represented type of act.

Previous BGT winning Acts

Betting Britains Got Talent betting requires a little knowledge as to the previous winners and what type of acts have previously been chosen by the British public to get the cash prize and chance to perform at the Royal Variety performance.
