TikTok superstar Khaby Lame is the early favourite with bookies to be the most followed TikTok user on the platform by the end of 2023.

Betting sites gave odds on the outcome last year and Lame ended up winning the race against Charli D'Amelio easily at the end of 2022.

This year looks to be more of the same with Lame just ahead of D'Amelio in the betting market at 4/5.

It looks like it will again be a two horse race when it comes to the most followed TikTok accounts this year with Bella Poarch third favourite at 12/1.

The longer odds shows such a slim chance of her catching up to D'Amelio and Lame who are both more than 50m followers ahead of Poarch on the platform.

Charli D'Amelio is 11/10 in the betting and 4.9m followers behind Lame

TikTok star Charli D'Amelio has the second most followed account on the platform with 150m followers.

She's now nearly 5m followers behind Lame with the gap between the two growing on a monthly basis and looking like staying that way.

The list hasn't changed much since the end of the year apart from Mr Beast replacing Will Smith in the leaderboard based on followers.

Despite having by far the most likes on TikTok with 11.2 billion, D'Amelio still finds herself behind Lame in the followers list.

The latest betting odds suggest that Twitter CEO Elon Musk will become the most followed account by the end of the year and his statistics show there's a great chance of doing so.

Musk is currently the fastest growing user on the platform and has been since the takeover with more than 40m followers gained since he originally announced he was buying Twitter.
