- Strictly is down to just 5 contestants after Tilly Ramsay loses her place
- Rose Ayling continues as super-strong favourite with bookmaker at just 1/5
- The rest of the lin up playing for places with bookies making AJ Odudu 7/1 2nd favourite
- Rhys Stephenson is 100/1 outsider according to bookies after surviving another dance off
Another solid dance from Rose Ayling-Ellis leaves her the clear favorite to win the Glitterball trophy on Strictly Come Dancing, whilst Tilly Ramsay is the latest celebrity to be eliminated, losing the dance-off against Rhys Stephenson who now remains the 100/1 outsider.
Rose has been favourite since the first week of the show and it is becoming harder and harder to imagine any other winner, as bookmakers are making no changes to the betting week in week out as one celebrity leaves after another

Dan Walker is still competing in Strictly Come Dancing as we come down to the final five and the quarter-finals - he is 25/1 to win the show

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the show so far is that Dan Walker has managed to survive week after week without even having to dance off, to make it to the final five and the quarter-finals that start next week with the 5 remaining celebrities
Could there be an upset?
Rose and Giovanni only scored 33/40 this week when the star admitted to struggling with the Paso Doble. It is the first time we have seen a slight chunk in the pair's dominance, although Strictly Come Dancing Betting odds still have them as very short favorites to win.
Dan Walker has even said he has been secretly voting for Rose, but could the TV presenter be this year's dark horse after making it through to the quarter-finals and holding a 25/1 chance?
We took a look at the average scores each couple have gained so far in the series and it might surprise you.
Strictly Come Dancing Series 19 Average Scores (after R10)
Rose and Giovanni have not had a top score for the last 4 weeks, and are only 4th of 5 in the average scores, despite being very short favorites to win
Couple/Dances | Total Points | Average | Odds |
---|---|---|---|
John & Johannes (10) | 344 | 34.4 | 10/1 |
AJ & Kai (10) | 341 | 34.1 | 7/1 |
Rhys & Nancy (10) | 331 | 33.1 | 100/1 |
Rose & Giovanni (10) | 329 | 32.9 | 1/5 |
Tilly & Nikita (10) | 315 | 31.5 | Eliminated |
Tom & Amy (8) | 244 | 30.5 | Eliminated |
Sara & Aijaž | 228 | 28.5 | Eliminated |
Dan & Nadia | 271 | 27.1 | 25./1 |
Rose and Giovanni may have an 80% chance of winning according to bookmaker odds but they have only the 4th best average score of the 5 left in with only Dan and Nadia scoring worse
