Bad Bunny is now 1/4 with bookies to be the most streamed artist of 2023 on Spotify

Rapper Bad Bunny is the early favourite with bookies at 1/4 to be the most streamed artist of 2023 on Spotify.

Spotify announces statistics every December in their Spotify Wrapped feature where users of the platform are shown how many streams they've played throughout the year.

Bad Bunny has topped the most streamed charts on there for three years in a row and the latest betting odds say that the Latin trap singer will do the same this year.

Spotify most streamed artist of 2023 Odds Probability
Bad Bunny 1/4 80%
The Weeknd
9/1 10%
Post Malone 20/1 4.8%
Billie Eilish 20/1 4.8%
J Balvin 22/1 4.3%

Second favourite The Weeknd came 4th in the most streamed artist list on Spotify last year with Taylor Swift and Drake ahead of him.

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny has an 80% chance of topping the most-streamed artist charts in next year's Spotify Wrapped. Bad Bunny has achieved that feat in the last 3 years and it looks likely that he'll do that again.

The Puerto Rican rapper has been the most streamed artist on the streaming platform for the last 3 years

Bad Bunny has dominated the last three years of Spotify Wrapped with the Puerto Rican singer topping the highest streamed chart every year since 2020.

Taylor Swift has been runner-up to Bad Bunny for the last two years with her latest release still not putting her above him on Spotify in 2022.

Bad Bunny has had 18.5 billion total streams on the music platform in 2022 and the odds suggest there's an 80% chance of him doing the same again in 2023.

Year
Highest Streamed Artist (Number of streams on Spotify)
2018 Drake (4.7 billion)
2019 Post Malone (6.5 billion)
2020 Bad Bunny (8.3 billion)
2021 Bad Bunny (9.1 billion)
2022 Bad Bunny (18.5 billion)

The Weeknd now second favourite in the market at 9/1

Canadian singer The Weeknd is the second favourite in the betting market at 9/1 to top the end of year Spotify Wrapped list.

Taylor Swift was the early second favourite at 6/1 towards the end of the last year but now bookies make her nowhere to be found in the betting market.

The Weeknd is due to have a massive worldwide tour in 2023 and this may contribute to his total streams with his popularity continuing to grow throughout the year.

The Weeknd is now the second favourite to be the most streamed artist of 2023 on Spotify with his popularity continuing to grow year-by-year.
