Taylor Swift is now 3/1 to be the most streamed artist of 2023 coming in from nowhere to second favourite in the market

Taylor Swift has come from absolutely nowhere to now second in the market with bookmakers to be the most streamed artist on Spotify in 2023 after a successful few months for the singer.

Swift has had massive success with her album Midnights which was released in October last year and the Deluxe edition of the album will be released later this week.

The latest betting odds now put Swift as the 3/1 second favourite in the betting market to be the most streamed artist worldwide on Spotify this year during their Wrapped feature.

Spotify announces statistics every December during Spotify Wrapped where users of the platform are shown how many streams they've played throughout the year.

Spotify most streamed artist of 2023 Odds Probability
Bad Bunny 2/5 71.4%
Taylor Swift 3/1 25.0%
The Weeknd
5/1 16.7%
Drake 9/1 10.0%
BTS 10/1 9.1%
Taylor Swift has come from nowhere in the betting market to just 3/1 now to be the most streamed artist of 2023 on Spotify with the release of her Deluxe edition of Midnights on the way this week!

Bad Bunny remains the odds-on favourite to top the streaming list this year

Bad Bunny has topped the most streamed charts on Spotify for the last three years and the latest betting odds say that the Latin trap singer will do the same this year.

The Puerto Rican rapper released his latest single "Where She Goes" a week ago today and in the space of the week it's already had 33m listens on Spotify.

It's likely that Bad Bunny will be in and around the top of the most listened to artists on the platform again in 2023 but fewer releases may harm his chances.

The Puerto Rican rapper has been the most streamed artist on the streaming platform for the last 3 years

Bad Bunny has been the most streamed artist on Spotify for three years in a row and it looks like it's going to take a big ask to knock him off the top spot.

Post Malone was the last artist to be above Bad Bunny in the Spotify streaming charts but he's nowhere to be seen in the betting market this time around.

Year
Highest Streamed Artist (Number of streams on Spotify)
2018 Drake (4.7 billion)
2019 Post Malone (6.5 billion)
2020 Bad Bunny (8.3 billion)
2021 Bad Bunny (9.1 billion)
2022 Bad Bunny (18.5 billion)
