Bookmakers offer odds of 12/1 that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle divorce at some point in 2023

Another week and another report comes out that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on the rocks and with that comes the betting market around the pair getting divorced.

Harry and Meghan are constantly in the media for their relationship which is fairly public due to the nature of Prince Harry's royal family heritage.

Various reports this week including in The Mirror suggest that Meghan is stepping away from projects with Harry, feeling that she'll have better success if she goes alone.

With those reports comes fresh rumours that the couple could split with the latest bookie odds at 12/1 that the pair decide to call it quits this year.

The betting market though says there's a 98% chance that they don't split in 2023 with the current odds as short as 1/80 that the pair stay together.

Will Harry and Meghan divorce in 2023? Odds Probability
Yes 12/1 7.7%
No 1/80 98.8%
What the expert says..
With reports that Meghan Markle wants to go solo in her future career moves, bookies are now offering odds on her and Prince Harry divorcing at some point in 2023 with a 7% chance that they do so.

Previous betting market offered various odds around the future of Harry and Meghan

Back in 2020 bookies originally gave odds of what Harry and Meghan would do next with a whole host of potential outcomes including them permanently moving back to the UK.

Three years on though and none of these markets have come in yet and none of them really seem realistic with the shortest odds at the time being Harry and Meghan moving to the UK.

The pair no longer have a lease at Frogmore Cottage so that looks unlikely to happen along with second favourite in the market which was for the pair to adopt a baby/child.

Harry & Meghan Specials (2020 market) Odds Probability
Permanently move back to the UK 6/4 40%
Adopt a baby/child 6/1 14.3%
Meghan to return to a special of Suits 20/1 4.8%
Meghan to appear as herself in The Crown 100/1 1%

Further odds given at the start of the year for the Royal Family to issue an apology to the couple

With Prince Harry's tell-all book 'Spare' released earlier this year bookies gave odds around the chances of an apology from the Royal Family to Harry and Meghan.

With physical altercations with his brother William and other revelations discussed in the book there are odds of 8/1 that a public apology is given to Harry by the Royal Family.

Star Sports back in January that there was an 11% chance that a public apology was officially issued by the Royal Family with the Sunday Times reporting back in December that the couple were wanting an apology.

What the expert says...
There's just an 11% chance that the Royal Family issue a public apology to Harry and Meghan according to betting odds at the beginning of the year!
