Rasmus Højlund is just 5/1 to sign for Arsenal in the Summer transfer window

Atalanta striker Rasmus Højlund is now 5/1 with bookmakers to sign for Arsenal in the Summer window following reports linking the forward with a move to the Emirates.

20-year-old Højlund is reportedly a target for Arsenal with Italian publication CalcioMercato revealing that the Gunners are in pole position to sign the player.

Mikel Arteta may well be looking for strength in depth in the forward line after Gabriel Jesus missed a big chunk of the season through injury earlier this campaign.

Unibet now say there's a 16% chance that Arsenal sign Højlund in the upcoming window with the Gunners just ahead of Real Madrid in the betting market.

Højlund still as short as 1/5 to stay at Atalanta beyond the Summer

Højlund is in his first season at Atalanta and it could be that the player doesn't make a move in the upcoming window with 4 years still left on his current contract.

The Italian club signed the forward last summer window for a reported €17 million which would likely mean it'd take a big fee to sign the player this upcoming window.

The latest betting odds say that there's an 83% chance that Højlund does stay at Atalanta beyond the summer window.

Arsenal remain favourites to win the Premier League this season

Mikel Arteta may be already in the market for a new striker for next season but the current season sees his side at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal are now odds-on at 8/11 to win the Premier League with Manchester City their only real rivals in the market at 11/10.

The two sides meet in the Premier League at the end of April in what is being billed as the battle for the title with the winner of the game the favourites to win the league.

Arsenal 8/11 57.9%
Man City 11/10 47.6%
Man Utd 750/1 0.1%

Arsenal are the favourites to win the Premier League with bookies more or less saying it's a two horse race between them and Man City going into the final weeks of the season!
