Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou shortens into 2/1 to be next Premier League manager to leave

Betting odds continue to be offered on the dreaded Premier League Sack Race with Ange Postecoglou shortening from 12/1 into 2/1 in the space of a week to go next.

Postecoglou promised fans that he would win a trophy this season saying back in September that he "always" wins a trophy in his second season in charge of a club.

Now though Spurs are struggling in the Premier League and have 15 points less than they did last season with their 24 points putting them in 12th place in the table.

Bookmakers have slashed Postecoglou's odds of leaving next in the past week with his implied probability of leaving next growing from 7.7% into 33.3% now.

Spurs have a tough Carabao Cup Semi-Final first leg against Liverpool next before an FA Cup Third Round tie against Tamworth and bad results in either could signal the end of Ange's time in charge.

West Ham's Julen Lopetegui remains favourite to go with odds of 5/4 given

West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui has long been favourite to be the next manager to go and it remains that way after his side were defeated 4-1 against Man City on Saturday.

The Hammers face a tricky tie in the FA Cup Third Round next away at Aston Villa and Lopetegui knows that a loss here would signal the end of their season with nothing else to play for.

Lopetegui went straight down the tunnel without acknowledging the Hammers away support at the Etihad on Saturday and it may be we're edging closer to the end of his reign at West Ham.
